Wedding

Yesterday, I attended my closest buddy in highschool's wedding. I haven't been to any weddings before (kahit oberve man lang sa ceremony). Actually, I've been to a few but I was a wedding singer. So I could not really observe the ceremony.

Last night, I was my friend's bestman. When I arrived at Manila Diamond Hotel, I didn't know exactly on what to do. I was looking for the wedding coordinator to ask about my duties but she was nowhere to be found. I only saw her minutes before the ceremony began.

My biggest blunder last night was lighting the unity candle at the start of the wedding. I didn't know it was supposed to be lighted by the bride and groom. ;-) When I lighted the said candle, everybody began to make sign and called my attention that I was not supposed to light it. So I blew the fire off the candle. Funny, coz it felt like a birthday party for me! Hahaha!

Then during the reception, nobody told me that I was suppose to give a speech for the bride and groom. In addition to that, they didn't tell me that I would be the one to invite the newly weds and the people for a toast. So everything was impromptu.

But I had a good time last night. There was a ballroom dancing right after the reception dinner buffet. But I didn't dance. Almost everyone on the dance floor were like 20 to 30 years older than me! ;-)

To Eli and Cathy, again, I pray for a God-centered relationship, that whatever misunderstandings be easily mended, and a happy family!
