After the Friday Night Out Group went to Baliwag's Havana yesterday, I, Rob, Mcoy and Shee went to Sgt. Esguerra Cafea. As what the name implies, the coffee shop is located along Sgt. Esguerra street, just in front of ABS-CBN.
The night was a memorable one since that was one of the few times that my medschool friends talked about life in general... seriously. :) Yeah, boys night out eh? But the heck with stereotyping. Sometimes we have to cross over society's bounderies in order for us to really appreciate how whole we are as human beings.
Anyway, as I said, last night was a meaningful night. The people who I always see in medschool who always play pranks, crack jokes, study and talk about medicine stuffs, are the people who I found out last night to have profound perceptions about life... and love. Haha! Last night was just the perfect moment where I saw a stark contrast to what we have been routinely in medschool, and what we really are as persons. In medschool kasi, we just talk about medicine stuffs, drugs, the human body, microorganisms, and the list goes on. And so as compensation, we find time for leisure, laugh and play around like every moment is the last time we could do all those things because of the demands of medschool.
Again, last night was different. Deep insights poured out. Humanity was exposed. And so I thank these three buddies: Mcoy, Rob and Shee. For the rest of my gang, we will surely have our serious ahead. :)
