But I am anxious. I want to excel. Yet I think I am not yet ready... I take comfort in God's Word:

"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen." Ephesians 3:20-21

I have been asking people to pray for me. I too have been praying. But in my encounters with God, He has been asking me these:

- Do I really believe that?
- Can God really do "immeasurably more" than all I ask?
- Is He truly able to do more than I can even imagine?
- Is God's power really "at work within me"?
- Do my prayers demonstrate that I believe that? Does my imagination?
- Does my life, my lifestyle, my relationships, my schoolwork demonstrate that I believe in this kind of power at work in me and in all those who belong to God in Christ?
- Do I really believe this?
