Sembreak Part I

My sembreak started with so much fun. Right after General Pathology exam, which by the way was the last long exam for the third shift, I and a few of my classmates (me, Marc, Shee, Mcoy, Rob, Gem, Tine, and Meg) decided to go to Pansol. Pansol by the way is a place in Laguna where private resorts mushroom everywhere. We agreed to meet at 6pm, but as usual, we all ended up meeting at past 7pm at the school lobby. We still didn't have a place where we could stay there but they said that would be easy since first, there are a lot of resorts there in Pansol and second, the season is off-peak.

So there. But before we went there, we went to Garcia's to shop for food and stuffs that we might need there. We bought ready-to-cook barbecue, marinated chicken, softdrinks and Absolut raspberry. I personally bought this watchamacallit thing, uhmmm... a wire with a loop that when you blow right through the hole, you could produce bubbles. Hahahaha!

So off we rode Gem's truck to Pansol. When we arrived there, we didn't have any idea which specific resort to go to so we asked a few locals so assist us in looking for a nice resort. Our criteria? Well, there must at least be a swimming pool, an airconditioned room (at least one), pool/billiards, and videoke. We checked up a few but found almost 90% of them so freaky. To make the long story long, we settled at Villa Lovely May, which Sherwin constantly mistakenly says, Villa Lovely Day! Ahahaha!

When we arrived there, we immediately did what we are supposed to do:
Marc and Meg - took care of the grilling (pork barbecue and chicken)
Carlo - made the delicious sandwich
Rob, Mcoy, Tine and Gem - went to the local tiangge to buy cooked rice and chichiria
Shee - sang the first song at the videoke

So this is Marc at the "Grilling Place". :)

After everything has been set up, we were all ready for dinner. And alas! That was a sumptuous one, except that we only had two varieties of viand. Hehehe! Nevertheless, we all enjoyed dinner.

After taking dinner, we all went to the pool and swam til we dropped. In between, we played billiards and enjoyed the videoke. All these happened overnight, nonstop until 6am. :) By the way, I won one game in billiards over Mcoy! Hahaha! Take that Mcoy! :) Now, Shee and Marc fears the name Carlo in the game of Billiards! Ahahaha! Anyway, earlier when the night was young, Tine didn't quite enjoy the outing because she was resting. She experienced fever, generalized body weakness, and malaise. But after a while, actually a few hours after she took some medications, there was temporary relief of symptoms and so she was able to join us in the pool and in a lot more activities we did there at Pansol.

Here are some of our crazy pics:

We left Villa Lovely May at around 10am. But the fun isn't over yet. We decided to drop by Tagaytay to have our lunch there. We chose to eat at Josephine's because that was where Mcoy suggested we should eat. Hehe! Fortunate for him, we all liked the food and service in that place. Rob was delighted to see in bright daylight the grandeur of Taal Lake and Taal Volcano. Predictably, the picture-maniacs are on the loose once again. Here are our pics:

Whew! Those two days were so fun! Even if I had muscle pains a day after, all the pagod was worth it!
